The American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) announced Monday that it has relaunched its official website (www.accj.or.jp), featuring enhanced user-friendly functionality including greatly expanded Japanese language content. The new bilingual site, which allows users to toggle smoothly between the site’s extensive English and Japanese language content, is part of the yearlong celebration to commemorate the ACCJ’s 60 years of operations in Japan.

“To commemorate our 60th anniversary, we selected the theme, ‘Bringing businesses together for sixty years,'” ACCJ President Allan Smith said in a statement. “Our new bilingual website is part of our continuing efforts to bring U.S. and Japanese businesses together and to enhance our ability to communicate and to share our ideas, policy recommendations and aspirations with our stakeholders and the general public in ways we have not been able to in the past.”

While English language ACCJ membership-related content remains central, the new website can now be navigated in Japanese to gather permanent information focusing on advocacy, membership, CSR and promotional opportunities.
