Beauty store startup OsakaKuma used this pitch deck to bag $6m in pre-series A money

OsakaKuma, a Singapore beauty and personal care store run by lifestyle curator Sinbad, offers a selection of exclusive Japanese products from a collection of over 1,000 items. The curated products are based on the survey responses of over 10,000 customers.

The platform sells items from top brands in skincare, cosmetics, personal care, mother and baby, and healthcare segments. The products are directly purchased from Japan and are delivered to customers through online and offline channels. By cutting out intermediaries, the company aims to offer products at the lowest possible price.

OsakaKuma is now available in six countries and has seven physical stores in Japan, one store in Hong Kong, two stores in Singapore, and 15 online stores around the world. It also has plans to roll out geo-targeted product offerings across Singapore.
