Crunchyroll announces more Japanese smartphone apps

Crunchyroll, Inc, a leading global video network and developer of social media applications for Japanese anime and Asian media, has partnered with Marvelous Entertainment (MMV) to announce the launch of Japanese smartphone applications designed exclusively for title-specific anime streaming.

Crunchyroll and Marvelous will make 11 EYES, DEMON KING DAIMAO, HAPPINESS!, MYSELF;YOURSELF, KONO AOZORA NI YAKUSOKU WO, and SCHOOL DAYS available for streaming on Android applications in Japan.

These are six Crunchyroll smartphone applications that have launched in Japan in addition to ORETACHI NI TSUBASA WA NAI – WITHOUT WINGS – UNDER THE INNOCENT SKY and HOSHIZORA E KAKARU HASHI – A BRIDGE TO THE STARRY SKIES that was launched this spring. Users will be able to access and download the application from the Android storefront immediately in Japan.

Viewers around the world will be able to stream anime from Crunchyroll.com, Crunchyroll’s Anime iPhone and iPad Apps, Vizio VIA internet-enabled televisions, Roku, WD TV Live, and Boxee set-top box solutions, as well as through affiliate partners.
