CyberAgent accepts My365 app, sets up Sirok

CyberAgent Inc, a Tokyo-based developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment for PCs, handheld and wireless devices, has accepted the “My365” SNS (social networking service) application for iPhone, and has established Sirok Inc as its smartphone app developer arm.

My365 is a photo sharing SNS service launched in October, and has already reached more than 300 thousand accumulated downloads. Based on the concept “Turn your ordinary days into piece of memory”, users can take their daily moments into a picture, pick one of several lovely filtered effects and place it into a calendar.

This unique service concept caused a word-of-mouth wave that helped expand its number of registered users. My365 ranked high on the free app ranking in the photo category not only in Japan, but also in other Asian countries like Thailand and Hong Kong, with more than 30% users from outside of Japan.

In the U.S., it placed No. 3 in photo and camera app ranking as of Jan 2.

Sirok, meanwhile, will take over the My365 service from its developer team and will run it as well as develop other functions and an Android version.
