HI Corp, a leading company for mobile 3-D graphics, will collaborate with Lotaris to accelerate the development of their products that are aimed at further activating global smartphone applications and the content market.

n

Through this collaboration, HI will be able to deliver to content providers Lotaris’ behavior-based mobile applications management platform “LME (Lotaris Licensed Mobile Environment Platform) that uses advanced DRM (Digital Rights Management) technology, which allows the distribution of both premium (pay) and freemium content secured by DRM. In addition, an integrated solution of HI’s 3-D rendering engine “MascotCapsule” and LME platform will be available for developers.

n

Lotaris LME Platform has been widely adopted by major global ISVs for their security–sensitive Android applications. Supporting operating systems such as Android and BlackBerry, LME Platform enables various payment methods such as credit cards, PayPal, and scratch cards (license key entry). Its tracking feature allows content providers to use the usage information for their content planning and development.

Lotaris CEO Robert Tibbs said, “I am very pleased that we are working with HI that has a de facto standard 3-D rendering engine and has partners around the world. We believe that the LME Platform is the solution to distributing content with safe billing which is essential for the rapidly growing smartphone market. Cooperating with HI, we are committed to expanding LME in the game and content industry as well as developing products that will be well accepted by the market.”
