nJapanese robotics startup Gitai has raised about US$4.1 million from Spiral Ventures Japan, DBJ Capital, J-Power, and 500 Startups Japan (now Coral Capital), TechCrunch Japan reported.nThe company will use the new funds for the development of its robots and the launching of a demo model on the International Space Station scheduled for 2020.nGitai aims to reduce work costs in space by using “a robot for space work that can be remotely controlled from the ground.”n
