MCN announces strategic partnership with Opt

MCN, a leading provider of mobile search and advertising solutions in Asia recently announced the formation of a strategic partnership with Opt, one of Japan’s leading eMarketing companies and one of the largest in Asia.

Since 2005, MCN has been in the business of providing mobile search solutions to mobile operators and content providers and currently serves over 200 million users across Asia. In particular the company has been integral to the growth of mobile advertising in Thailand where MCN works closely with the major mobile operators and launched advertising services there in 2007.

Leveraging its patented technology and market tested services, the company will be launching several extensions to its mobile marketing platform related to messaging, social apps and rich media applications.

Opt, a leading full-service e-marketing company in Japan, currently has operations in China and Korea. The company provides a full range of e-marketing services including display advertising, SEO, SEM, and e-commerce applications for both the mobile and PC web. Its revenue for the fiscal year ending December 2010 was 58.13 billion yen. Through the partnership with MCN, Opt’s services will become available in the rapidly growing ASEAN markets which are expected to cover 600 million mobile users by 2014.
