NEC to participate in World Cities Summit 2014

NEC Corp on Monday announced its participation in the World Cities Summit 2014 in Singapore from June 1-4.

The World Cities Summit is held every two years with the aim of encouraging ideas and discussions on practical solutions for modern urban challenges. This year’s event will be held at the Sands Expo & Convention Center, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, where NEC will present its leading services and technologies.

NEC’s market leading biometric solutions have been used in more than 40 countries worldwide in a broad range of applications, including surveillance, border control, national ID and criminal investigation systems.

NEC will showcase its Inter-Agency Collaboration solution, which helps a wide range of government agencies to integrate and analyze data collected from various sensors and network systems using advanced analytic technologies and information sharing tools. The solution is composed of three technology pillars: Information Governance, a Safety Awareness Network and Geo-spatial Analytics.
