H.I.S. and partner hotels on the H.I.S. VACATION website will use MasterCard Purchase Control for consumers booking accommodation overseas. This will enable both H.I.S and partner hotels to improve operational efficiency in the data collation process, from bookings to clearance.

With a purchasing card issued by Orico, the MasterCard Purchase Control system will generate a unique virtual card number for each booking, which enables H.I.S. and partner hotels to manage the entire process with a single virtual card number.

As more consumers use their smartphones to book hotels online, travel agencies and partner hotels have to collate increasing amounts of data generated throughout the process from booking to clearance. Streamlining this process will not only help travel agencies to improve efficiency, it will also enable them to work with more partner hotels and provide consumers with more travel options.
