Toshiba unveils world’s lightest laptops

Toshiba is commemorating its 25th anniversary of being in the portable PC business with the release of four laptop models, including the world’s first dual-touchscreen Windows mini-notebook PC and Dynabook Rx3, the world’s lightest laptop.

The number of models that will be released in 2010 is 10% of the yearly target of 25 million units, Toshiba said Tuesday.

Toshiba claims that the RX3 — at 1,250 grams — is the world’s lightest 13.3-inch wide LCD display laptop.
