Successful language students know repetition is key to mastery. Finding and remembering words in reading material is an all important activity. With the newest version of the Japanese-English bilingual web browser, Rikai Browser, this process is made much easier.
n
Rikai Browser, a web browser with a built in Japanese-English dictionary was updated Tuesday to include integration with Japanese Flash, a top selling study app for iPhone and iPad. This latest version of Rikai Browser lets users share words with the Japanese Flash study app.
n
“Japanese learners can now look up a word on a web page using Rikai Browser and with one tap send a word to Japanese Flash for later study,” stated Ross Sharrott, a director at Long Weekend, the publisher of Japanese Flash and Rikai Browser.
n
This new release also includes a copy-paste feature to help translate Japanese text from e-mails and SMS messages.
n
“If you live in Japan, you often find yourself receiving a text message in Japanese with characters you can’t read. Now you can copy the text, paste it into Rikai Browser and find the reading and meaning at a touch,” explained Sharrott.
n
Rikai Browser is available on the Apple App Store for $3.99 or 450 yen.
